Handle Missed Visits

Track, notify, and resolve visits that were not clocked in as scheduled.

View missed visits

Go to Scheduling → Missed Visits. This page lists all scheduled visits where no clock-in was recorded within 30 minutes of the scheduled start time. Each row shows the patient, caregiver, scheduled time, and current status.

Mark as notified

Once you have contacted the caregiver or supervisor about the missed visit, click Mark Notified. Select the contact method (phone, email, text) and enter any notes. This creates an audit trail of your follow-up.

Waive a missed visit

If the visit was not required (for example, the patient was hospitalised or declined service), click Waive and enter the reason. Waived visits are excluded from compliance reports.

Export missed visit report

Click Export CSV to download the missed visit log filtered by MCO and date range. Many MCOs require this report on a weekly basis as part of your service agreement.
